The preparatory year is an immersion in the world of hospitality operations. You work in small groups on the school's annual Gala dinner and you run our gastronomic restaurant Le Charles in the dining room and in the kitchens, at operational and management positions. The year also includes an introduction to international tourism, as you study and visit Paris main attractions including Le Louvre, river cruise and the Eiffel Tower. The preparatory year must be studied in Paris.
You will study Essentials of Tourism and Hospitality Operations, the Tourism and Hospitality Industry, Essentials of Human Resources and Business Computing, and Essentials of Marketing and Customer Relationships in Tourism and Hospitality.
The preparatory year takes you to a 6-month internship in operations.
